Incarnation and Sunday
Tuesday Dec 31, 2019
Tuesday Dec 31, 2019
Was the Incarnation a real thing? The answer simply is a yes. But why is it important that we believe in the historical reality of the Incarnation? It is because it reveals so much about who we are and how we see the world.
One way can be seen is how it relates to the topic of Sunday worship. There are many who will say that the Sabbath is Saturday, but those people seem to ignore the reality that we do not circumcise anymore because of the reality of the Incarnation.

He is the Second Person of the Trinity, the Son of God. And He is Lord, Jehovah, Yahweh. The God of the Old Testament Incarnated.

Thursday Dec 26, 2019
Jesus is Lord. This is a very basic declaration that Christians everywhere proclaim but most really do not understand fully what this means. Many think it simply is a declaration of superiority or leadership, but this is only partly correct. For when we call Jesus our Lord we are in essence declaring that Jesus is Jehovah or Yahweh.

A child is born unto us who is Christ the Lord! This is the triumphal proclamation of Christmas. And it is something we need to be reminded of because it is important that we do not forget just who this day is for. It is not about you, or your family, or presents. It is for the Christ who was born some 2000 years ago in Bethlehem.
